The UPPSC APO Exam Pattern is consists of two exams which are Prelims and Mains exam. The exam pattern for both the exams is given below:

The prelims exam is consist of two parts. Part 1 is covers topics from General Knowledge and Part 2 covers topic from Law Subject.

  • Total Marks: 150
  • No. of Questions: 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Exam Mode: Offline exam (OMR based)
  • Exam Duration: 120 minutes (2 Hours).
  • Marking Scheme: There is no negative marking.
  • Exam Language: The exam will be bilingual (English and Hindi)

The Mains Exam is consist of 6 papers. The exam pattern for these papers is as follows:

  • Total Marks: 500
  • No. of Questions: Will be descriptive and marks will be different for each question.
  • Exam Mode: Offline exam (Descriptive)
  • Exam Duration:
    • Paper 2 and Paper 3 (General English and General Knowledge): 90 minutes each.
    • Other remaining papers: 3 Hours each.
  • Marking Scheme: There is no negative marking.
  • Exam Language: The exam will be bilingual (English and Hindi)
