The PM Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) aims to provide free cyliner to financially weak families whose annual income is less than 1 lakh 80 thousands according to Family ID (PPP). PM Ujjwala Yojana was officially announced by Prime Minister Narendera Modi and was launched on 1st May 2026. PM Ujjwala Yojana – Benefits

The benefits of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 3.0 are as follows –

• Through this scheme, the government is providing benefits to 25 lakh women.
• Through this scheme, the government is providing free gas connections and gas stoves to women.
• Through this scheme, the government aims to protect women from diseases caused by smoke from traditional stoves.

PM Ujjwala Yojana – Eligibility Criteria

If you want to apply online for PM Ujjwala Yojana 3.0, you must meet all the eligibility criteria given below:

• The applicant must be an Indian women citizen.
• The applicant woman must be at least 18 years of age.
• The applicant woman be a BPL / APL Ration card holder.
• The name of the applicant woman’s family must be registered in the SECC-2011 database.

How to Apply

Here is how to apply PM Ujjwala Yojana Online Form 2025:

• Registration: Go to the official portal of PM Ujjwala Yojana. On the homepage, look for the option related to new gas connections. Click on “Apply for New Ujjwala PMUY Connection.” A new page will appear — select “Click Here to Apply for New PMUY Connection.” You will now be redirected to a page where you must select your preferred gas agency (HP, Indane, or Bharat Gas).
• Application Form: Complete all the steps which includes, Personal Details, Resident Details, Family Member Details, etc.
• Submit Application: Finally Preview and check if there any mistakes and submit the application form. Take printout of application from after submission or else save as pdf.
