NTA CUET UG 2026 – Eligibility
The eligibility criteria to take part in the CUET UG examination is as follows:

CUET UG – Exam Pattern 2026
The CUET UG Exam will be conducted in CBT Mode. The exam will consist of Four Sections. The CUET UG Exam Pattern 2026 consists only a domain specific questions based on the subject chose by the candidate. Here is the complete exam pattern details.
- Exam Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT).
- No. of Questions: 50 questions for each test paper.
- Exam Duration: 60 minutes for each test paper (Compensatory time for PwBD Candidates of 20 minutes for each hour will be given).
- Marking Scheme: Correct Answer: 05 marks (Five). There will be negative marking for each incorrect answer of 01 (one) mark.
- Medium of Examination: The exam will be conducted in 13 Indian languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu).
- Subject & Language Choices: A Candidate can chooose a maximum of 5 subjects including languges & General Aptitute Test.
- Subject Choices: There will be 23 subjects in total.

How to apply CUET UG 2026 Online Form
- Registration: Click the Apply Now button in the Important Links section. This will open the registration page in a new tab. Click on the New Registration >> button Register yourself for the above-mentioned examination section. Read the instructins and fill in the required details and complete the registration.
- Application Form: After Completing the Registration, login with the credentials and fill in the details in all steps upload required documents, photo and signature.
- Submit Application: Preview the application form and pay the application fee online then final submit the application form.
- Take printout of application from after submission or else save as pdf.
