Science Subject Eligibility Details :

10+2 Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics and English with Minimum 50% Marks. and 50% Marks in English. OR
3 Year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with Minimum 50% Marks and 50% Marks in English in Diploma Course. OR
2 Year Vocation Course with Non Vocational Subject Physics and Math from Any Recognized Board with 50% Marks Aggregate and 50% Marks in English.

Online Exam: Candidates appear for the Air Force Agniveer Vayu Exam.It assesses knowledge in subjects like English, Mathematics, Physics, and General Awareness depending on the candidate’s applied category (Science/Non-Science streams).
Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Shortlisted candidates must pass physical tests, including: 1.6 km run in a specified time.Push-ups, sit-ups, and squats to evaluate strength and endurance.
Medical Examination: Qualified candidates undergo a detailed medical assessment as per the standards set by the Indian Air Force.Focus on physical health, vision, hearing, and overall fitness.
Document Verification: Verification of essential documents like educational certificates, identity proofs, and domicile.
Merit List: A final merit list is prepared based on performance in all stages.
Selected candidates are notified and join as Air Force Agniveers.

How to apply

Registration: Click on the Apply-Now button below in the Important Links Section and Click on the Register button on next page. Here you can register using Digilocker or you can create a Digilocker Account if you don’t have one. Else you can also reginer by filling up you details manually. After verifying you account using OTP you will receive a system generated password in you E-Mail account. Login using the password and create a new password of you own.
Application Form: After Completing the Registration fill in the details in all steps.
Photo Instruction : Passport size recent colour photograph (taken not before January 2025) of size 10 KB to 50 KB (front portrait in light background without head gear except for Sikhs). The photograph is to be taken with candidate holding a black slate in front of his chest with his name and date of photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letter.
