IFSCA Assistant Manager Exam consists of two exam phases namely Phase 1 (Prelims Exam) and Phase 2 (Mains Exam). Here is the complete exam pattern:
Prelims Exam (Phase 1)
The Preliminary Examination (Online Screening Test) will consist of two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- Paper 1 will be common for all streams (General, IT, and Legal).
- Paper 2 will vary by stream:
- General Stream will have a separate Paper 2.
- IT (Informations Technology) and Legal Streams will have a common Paper 2.
- Exam Mode: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Total Marks: 100 marks each paper.
- No. of Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) in paper 1 and 50 in paper 2.
- Exam Duration: 60 minutes (1 Hour) Each Paper.
- Marking Scheme: There will be 1/4th negative marking in this exam for both papers and 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer.
- Qualifying Marks: 30% marks will be required to take participation in the Mains Exam in Paper 1 and 40% for Paper 2.

- Marking Scheme: There will be 1/3rd negative marking in this exam for paper 2 and 2/3rd of negative marking for paper 2.
- Qualifying Marks: 30% marks will be required for shortlisting in Paper 1 and 40% for Paper 2.
