Application fee

Every Student have to pay non-refundable application fee for taking admission in IGNOU University for the session 2025-26.

IGNOU Exam Fee

The students will have to pay exam fee later in the month of September / October (Tentative). IGOU Exam fee for UG PG Courses is Rs. 200 per paper.

IGNOU Admission Course Wise – Qualification Details

• UG Courses: 12th class passed.
• PG Courses: Bachelor Degree in related field/subject.
• Diploma Courses: Course wise.

Required Documents

Students applying for any course of IGNOU must have these documents ready:

• 10th, 12th & Graduation Marksheet (as applicable for the course),
• DEB ID (First Cread ABC ID on Digilocker then create DEB ID using the link given below),
• Aadhar Card,
• Domicile,
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Photo, Sign, Mobile No, Email ID Etc.

How to apply

Here is a step-by-step guide for “How to apply IGNOU Admission Online Form for UG/PG/ Diploma Courses”:

• Create ABC ID: Go to DigiLocker and create ABC ID there.
• Create DEB ID: After creating the ABC ID, go to the DEB registration portal (link is given below), provide ABC ID and some basic details like Name, DOB, Gender & Aadhaar Number and click on Enter button. You will receive a popup with your unique DEB ID.
• Registration: Click on the Apply-Now button below in the Important Links Section and Click on the Apply button and then click on Click Here for New Registration button on the next page. Fill in the basic details and click on register.
• Application Form: Login with the user id and password you created and fill all the required details in all the steps, upload the required documents.
• Submit Application: Preview and check the application form and pay the application fee then final submit the application form.
• Take printout of application from after submission or else save as pdf.
