Pre Examination Test UPSSSC PET 2025Minimum Class 10 High School Exam in Any Recognized Board OR Any Higher Qualification in Any Recognized University in India.

With the introduction of UPSSSC PET 2025, candidates must now qualify this preliminary exam to become eligible for the main examinations for Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts. Only those who perform well in the UP PET 2025 will be shortlisted for the next stages of recruitment. If a candidate hasn’t registered or appeared for UPSSSC PET 2025, they won’t be allowed to participate in any upcoming main exams for related vacancies. Therefore, appearing for UPSSSC PET 2025 is now a compulsory first step. The selection process for UPSSSC recruitments will follow this new pattern.

The selection process for all UPSSSC recruitment includes the following stages:

  • Scoring minimum qualifying marks in the PET written exam
  • Main Exam of the concerned post
  • Interview/Skill Test (if applicable)
  • Document Verification

The exam pattern for the UP PET 2025, as per the latest official notice, will include the following parameters:

  • The prelims will have a total of 100 questions.
  • 1 mark will be deducted for every 4 wrong answer.
  • The exam time will be of 2 hours.
  • The difficulty of questions for topics from sr. no. 1 to 9 shall be as per NCERT Secondary/Senior Secondary level.
