MPESB Police SI & Subedar – Selection Process 2025

The MPESB Police SI & Subedar selection process includes five stages which are Written Exam, Physical Efficiency & Standards Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination. Selction process will be in the following sequence:

• Written Exam (Prelims & Mains)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Physical Standards Test (PST)
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

MPESB Police SI & Subedar 2025 – Exam Pattern

There will be two exams for MPESB Police SI & Subedar posts which are Prelims and Mains Exam. Here is the complete exam pattern:

Prelims Exam

• Total Marks: 100.
• No. of Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
• Exam Duration: 120 minutes (2 Hours).
• Marking Scheme: There will be a 1/3rd negative marking for each wrong answer. However there is no negative marking for questions which are not attempted.
• Exam Language: The exam will be in English and Hindi language.

Mains Exam

10 times of the total number of vacancies for respected category will be called for the mains exam. The Mains Exam will have two papers and both papers will have two parts. Here is the complete Mains exam pattern for MP Police SI & Subedar:

• Total Marks: 150 each paper.
• No. of Questions: No. of questions are not fixed. Total number of marks for the question vary.
• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
• Exam Duration: 120 minutes (2 Hours) for each paper.
• Marking Scheme: There is no negative marking in this exam.
• Exam Language: The exam will be in English and Hindi language.
• Exam Level: The questions in this exam will be based on class 8th.

Paper 1

Paper 1 will have two parts. Part 1 focuses on History & Indian Society (इतिहास और भारतीय समाज) and  Part 2 focuses on Governance, Constitution and Polity, Social Justice and Legislations (शासन, संविधान और राजनीति, सामाजिक न्याय और विधान). Here is the Part 1 Exam pattern:

Paper 2

Paper 2 will also have two parts. Part 1 focuses on Current affairs, Technology, Economic Development, Environment and Internal Security (समसामयिक घटनाक्रम, प्रौद्योगिकी, आर्थिक विकास, पर्यावरण और आंतरिक सुरक्षा) and  Part 2 focuses on Reasoning and Data Interpretation (तर्क और डेटा व्याख्या). MPESB Police SI & Subedar – Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

For getting selected for MPESB Police SI & Subedar post candidates must qualify the Physical Efficiency Test which includes 800 meters of running, Short Put (Throwing a 4 KG Ball) and Long Jump. The distance and measurment is given below in the table:

Note: Three attempts will be given for Long Jump & Shot Put.
