CTET Notification 2026 for February 2026 Exam released on 27th November 2025 along with application forms at https://ctet.nic.in/. Online application process has been started with release of notification.
CTET 2026 Exam: It is a national level exam conducted twice a year to test the eligibility of candidates for teacher posts in central government schools like KVS & NVS. Two papers are conducted in this exam which are Level 1 and Level 2.
Level 1 Paper: To test eligibility to teach classes 1 to 5.
Level 2 Paper: To test eligibility to teach classes 6 to 8.

- Exam Mode: CBT (Multiple Choice Questions).
- Total Marks: 150.
- No. of Questions: 150.
- Exam Time: 150 minutes (2 Hours 30 minutes).
- Marking Scheme: There is a no negative marking in this exam and 1 mark will be given for each correct answer.
- Exam Language: 20 languages including English & Hindi.
