The selection process for Technician, Operator and Plant Attendant posts include the following stages:

RVUNL Technician Recruitment 2025 – Exam Pattern 2025

The RVUNL Technicians, Operator and Plant Attendant exam will be held through two phases of exam which are Prelims and Mains exam. All the candidate must clear both the exams for getting selected for any of these posts. Final selection will be based on Mains Exam. There will be separate exams for different posts. Here is the breakdown:

• Group-I of RVUN and Technician-III (ITI) of JVVN will have a common exam.
• Separate exam for Group-II of RVUN.
• Separate exam for Group-III of RVUN.
• Separate exam for Group-IV of RVUN.

RVUNL Technician Prelims (Screening Test) Exam Pattern

• Total Marks: 100
• No. of Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
• Exam Duration: 90 minutes (1 Hour 30 minutes).
• Marking Scheme: There is not any negative marking.
• Exam Language: The exam will be in English and Hindi language.
• Qualifying Marks: No minimum pass marks.

RVUNL Technician Mains Exam Pattern

• Total Marks: 150.
• No. of Questions: 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
• Exam Duration: 120 minutes (2 Hours).
• Marking Scheme: There is no negative marking.
• Exam Language: The exam will be in English and Hindi language.
• Qualifying Marks: 30% marks for General category and 25% marks for SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS/Ex-Serviceman/PwBd category candidates.

RVUNL Technician – Salary 2025

The candidates who got selected will be appointed as a Probtationer Trainee for 2 years with a salary package of Rs. 13,500/-. After this period they will get Rs. 19,200/- as salary per month under Level 4. Here is the complete salary structure:

In addition to the Basic Pay, The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
