ISRO ICRB Scientist / Engineer 2025 – Selection Process

The selection process for the post of Scientist / Engineer includes GATE Score based shortlisting and an Interview. Candidates will be selected based on the marks achieved in the written exam. Experienced candidates on a contract basis will have extra benefits of 5 marks per year experience for a maximum of 25 marks. The selection process includes the following stages:

• Shortlisting: The shortlisting will be based on the GATE Score in the ration of 1:7.
• Interview: The interview test will be of 100 marks in total and will include the following:

Final Selection Weightage:

• To qualify in the interview, candidates must secure at least 60 marks, while PwBD candidates need a minimum of 50 marks.
• The final selection will be determined by combining 50% of the GATE score and 50% of the interview marks.

In addition to the basic pay, employees are entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance, as per regulations. They will be covered under the New Pension Scheme or Unified Pension Scheme, as applicable.
